Dancing with Catherine

- First Dance Specialist

To children of the world Ballroom and Latin American Dancing is a sport and art rolled into one. It is very physical and requires great strength of mind and body. The boys in particular must be fit and strong. It is not a sport for the faint hearted and the strength required is equal to someone taking up football. So, if you think you're tough enough, come along and put yourself to the test!

Classes cater for children aged 4 to 11 and focus on Ballroom, Latin and some Freestyle dances. The children can work towards medals, but the emphasis is principally on enjoying their dancing to modern music. The classes will teach them rhythm, balance, co-ordination, style and invaluable social skills.
